Bancroft’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is being held this Saturday. Community Club Member Amber Bridges has the details.
“It starts at 1:00 so you want to make sure that you arrive a little bit sooner because at 1:00 we are going to let the kids go on to the Bancroft Football Field. And you’ll want to enter the north gate or by the playground area. That’s the best place to come in. So there will be lots of parking, but you’ll come in and we’ll have signs for each of the different age groups. We split the kids up so like the 0-2 year olds have a little space of their own and their own eggs, and then go all the way up until 6th grade.”
Bridges says people should bring their own baskets. All ages are welcome as there will be prizes and treats for everyone.
The Easter Egg Hunt isn’t just for the little ones.
“One awesome thing that we do have is an Adult Easter Egg Hunt. So anyone over the age of 6th grade and above we have a special area that eggs are hidden just for them. And it’s actually probably the most fun part of the day. Everybody’s always a little kid at heart and so it’s fun that adults get to hunt for those too, and there’s different prizes for them as well,” Bridges said.
Bridges says prizes include kites, baseball bats, balls, and bubbles as well as a Golden Egg Prize.
The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures beforehand, according to Bridges.
The snow/rain date is Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m.
