“The Civic Center’s show is a Juried craft event that features the best of handmade crafts; exhibitors from Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota and Montana have been juried into the show and will bring a variety of crafts that include home décor, clothing for adults and kids, jewelry, furniture, wood art and decorative signs, soaps, candles, fine art and yard art to name a few”, according to Rick Keller, Manager of the Gering Civic Center.

From jams to jellies, gourmet artisan breads to ethnic foods and salsas to gourmet caramel apples, whatever your taste buds crave the Specialty Foods Expo offers it for our customers.
Forty-eight (48) booths of handmade crafts will be on display in the Grand Ballroom and Lobby areas of the Gering Civic Center and eight (8) booths of specialty foods will be located in the small ballroom adjacent to the craft areas. Many of our customer’s favorite crafters return this year, including Hesse’s of Hackberry Creek from Valentine, The Gourd Lady from Whitney and Buffalo Valley Soaps from Arvada, CO and the 2016 show will also showcase crafts from seven (7) “new” exhibitors.
