Accident Leaves Stanton Couple Injured

On Friday morning at about 9:45 a.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to and investigated a one vehicle accident that sent a Stanton couple to the hospital with serious injuries.


Tim Barth, 58, of rural Stanton was northbound on 570th Avenue about 4 miles east of Stanton, when he lost control of his pickup and the trailer it was pulling on icy roads and it crossed the roadway and struck a culvert and road embankment.


Barth and his wife, Teri, 55, were taken to FRHS by Stanton and Pilger rescue units.
