Winter Storm Watch Surrounds Cuming County Area

A winter storm watch is in effect from late Saturday night  through Sunday afternoon just to the south of Cuming County.  The West Point area could  see one  to three inches of snow Saturday night with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour.  So  travel could be tricky.  But people heading south of our area will see even worse conditions.



Parts of east, central, northeast and southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa could see 3 to 8 inches of snow with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.



A Winter storm watch is in  effect from late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon  for Harrison, Shelby, Pottawattamie, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont,Page, Boone, Platte, Colfax, Dodge, Washington, Butler, Saunders, Douglas,  Sarpy, Seward, Lancaster, Cass,  Otoe, Saline, Jefferson, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee and Richardson Counties.
