The date is set, prizes have been announced, and ducks are now available for the 21st annual United Way of Western Nebraska Rubber Duck Dash.
The Duck Dash will be held on Saturday, July 21st, and Team Auto Center has once again donated the Grand Prize for this year’s winner. This year’s Grand Prize will be a 2018 Toyota C-HR, which has been widely popular and featured on this season of The Voice on NBC.
Team Auto Center owner Kent Holub says the C-HR came out last year and says this model is an XLE Premium with heated seat, 4-cylinder automatic, power windows and power door locks. He says it’s a nice sporty vehicle but with the SUV looks.
The 2nd Place prize this year is a 2018 Honda Pioneer 500 Side by Side donated by Sandberg Honda. Tyler Sandberg said they are excited to be partnering with the United Way of Western Nebraska and Team Auto Center in order to do good in our community.
Plus, there are 28 other great prizes for this year’s Duck Dash, donated by various local businesses.
For $10 per duck, United Way of Western Nebraska will enter a duck in your name into the Duck Dash. Numbers will be randomly assigned to all duck entries. Multiple duck entries will be assigned individual, random numbers for identification.
The ducks will be released into the North Platte River and dash to the finish line. The first 30 ducks through the finish line trap will be the lucky duck winners. The more ducks you buy, the better your chances of winning.
Individual ducks are $10, a Quacky Trio includes 3 ducks in the Duck Dash and a Quack Sack for $25, or you can purchase a Quacky Combo for $60, which includes 7 ducks in the Duck Dash and a Quack Sack.
Duck permits are available at Team Auto Center or the United Way of Western Nebraska office.
