10th Wyobraska Coin & Stamp Show in Gering Saturday

The tenth annual WyoBraska Coin & Stamp Show will take place Saturday, August 27th at the Gering Civic Center.

Show Chairman Larry Gibbs told KNEB News that dealers from four states will be in attendance to buy, sell, and trade with collectors both casual and serious.

Dealers attending this year’s free show include Gene Murren Coins & Precious Metals from Longmont, Colorado; The “CC” Guy from Loveland, Colorado; Way Numismatic Supply from Cheyenne, Wyoming; Yountiques from Loup City, Nebraska; Independence Coins from Eaton, Colorado; Dale Wilmeth Coins from Jewel, Kansas; Coins of Interest from Cheyenne; and Gibbs Enterprizes of Gering.

Gibbs says those attending will be able to register for a free door prize drawing consisting of a crisp, uncirculated, series 1957 one dollar silver certificate.

Another feature that will be continued at this year’s show will be directed at the young (10 and under) beginning collectors of stamps and coins. When accompanied by and adult, they will be able to draw a free US & World Coins & Stamp packet for their collection.

Gibbs says this is the tenth year for the free show, and continuance of the show is contingent on collector interest and attendance.
