Nestle USA combining US operations

Nestle USA will move its Hot Pockets production from California to Sterling Kentucky, impacting 360 employees at the California plant. Nestle plans to invest $13 million in its facility in Kentucky and hire an additional 150 employees there, while helping the employees from California transition to other position with Nestle or employment with another company. Company Chief Technical Officer Martial Genthon said the decision to consolidate production to one location came after exhaustive analysis.

Nestlé acquired the Hot Pockets and Lean Pockets brands in 2002, and moved brand management from Colorado to Ohio in 2012 Nestlé USA is part of Nestlé S.A. in Switzerland, the world's largest food company.
