Sidney child abuse case moves forward

A felony child abuse case against a forty one year old Sidney man has moved to district court following a preliminary hearing in Cheyenne County Court Tuesday.

Cheyenne County Attorney Paul Schaub says Johnny "Bo" Langley of Sidney will be arraigned May 2nd after it was determined there was enough evidence in the case to move it forward.

Langley is accused of hitting a 13-year-old boy in the face after getting irritated with the youth. Authorities says Langley apparently had been drinking.
