Ogallala man charged with child pornography

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a 27-year old Ogallala man on charges of Enticement by Electronic Communication Device, Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.

Ryan D Freitag, 27, Ogallala was taken into custody without incident at this residence on Thursday, April 12. His arrest follows a two-week long investigation during which Freitag engaged in electronic communication with an investigator posing as a 15-year-old female.

As part of the investigation a search warrant was served on Freitag's Ogallala apartment where investigators seized computers and other electronic devices.

Freitag was lodged in the Keith County Jail.
