FY 2013 Ag Appropriations Bill Approved by House Committee

A fiscal year 2013 ag appropriations bill has been approved by the House Appropriations Committee. The measure is very similar to the bill passed by the Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee - but includes an amendment that prohibits farm program benefits to individuals or entities with adjusted gross incomes of more than 250-thousand dollars. That amendment - offered by Arizona's Jeff Flake - was adopted on a voice vote.
