Two Meat Organizations Merge Into One
Monday marked the beginning of the North American Meat Association - a union of the National Meat Association and North American Meat Processors Association. NAMA CEO Barry Carpenter says together - the two organizations can achieve an excellence that builds upon the remarkable accomplishments of both groups. To make sure the transition is seamless - officers from the two organizations will share leadership positions. The first meeting will be at the NAMA Outlook Conference in San Antonio on October 24th through the 27th.
