Nebraska Hereford Tour showcases panhandle breeders

If you love looking at cattle, then you want to make plans to attend this year's Nebraska Hereford Association tour. Over two days, participates will travel scenic rolling sandhills of the panhandle. This year's tour will showcase eight different breeders on Sunday, September 22nd and Monday, September 23rd. In a interview with KNEB/Rural Radio Network, Kolby Van Newkirk says this is a opportunity to see a lot of Hereford cattle. The tour includes stops at Van Newkirk Herfords at Oshkosh, Monahan Cattle Co at Hyannis, the Vin Mar Ranch at Gordon, the Sellman Ranch at Crawford, Dyer/Lambert, Earl Henderson Ranch near Alliance and Olsen Ranches at Harrisburg. The first stop on the tour will be at their ranch Van Newkirk Herefords just east of Oshkosh. On Sunday night the tour will stop in Chadron overnight. Then on Monday morning, the tour will head to Crawford. The Nebraska Hereford Association is offering a charter bus that will start out in North Platte and will head west to make the whole journey. Van Newkirk says invites anyone to attend the event. He says visitors can attend the entire tour or only only certain stops. For additional information, or to register for the tour:
