Teacher looking to share more about agriculture
When students get back to school at Mary Lynch Elementary School in Kimball they will new ways one teacher is incorporating agricultural education into the curriculum. Carma Weisbrook teaches 5th grade and she is known for passion for bringing agriculture into the classroom. As the Nebraska Farm Bureau Co-teacher of the year, she recently attended the National Ag In The Classroom convention in Loveland.
The convention offered teachers from across the country with free literature, books and helpful websites for teachers to incorporate into the new school year. Weisbrook is very excited to share these new resources with her students.
The annual convention gathered teachers that share the common connection of students and agriculture. The 2013 conference will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
