Farm Bill Mark-Up Starts Today

It was announced late Wednesday night that the Senate Agriculture Committee will begin mark-up on the 2012 Farm Bill this morning at 9:30 Central time. The Committee Print will be modified and amended throughout the meeting - starting with a manager's package of consensus amendments offered by Chair Debbie Stabenow and Ranking Member Pat Roberts. Also beginning at 9:30 Central time - markup of the fiscal year 2013 ag appropriations bill in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
