Brindie is a young female of undetermined parentage. She is dark with brindling on her lower body and legs. She has a sweet personality with lots of enthusiasm which can be exhibited by turning leaps in the air. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash once her excitement is spent. Her excitement at being with people can unfortuantely be exhibited by some uncontrolled urination. She is a good dog who needs an owner willing to work with her as she goes from puppy to adult. For more information visit TenderHeart Animal Rescue & Sanctuary or call 02-369-6030
This week's pet of the week is sweet Sadie Jo. She's an 11 month old lab and boxer mix. Sadie came from a pretty rough background so she is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. She absolutely loves children and would be a great addition to any family willing to show her some extra TLC. She is completely leash and potty trained and is great at learning new tricks. Sadie gets along with other animals but would be best without any dominant animals in the house hold. She's such a lover and is waiting patiently for her forever home. If you are interested in Sadie Jo or any other animal we have up for adoption, please contact us at our new number (402) 750-4665 or online at our website at www.animalshelternn.org.

We have gotten in 3 kittens last week and 2 more litters are on the way! They have all been dewormed and are not adoptable quite yet because they are so young but we are taking reservations! They will be ready in about a month. Right now we have 2 boys, Tiger and Gus, and 1 girl, Spotty. They were all found alone and crying when a good Samaritan brought them to safety. They are all very sweet and learning to play with each other and eat solid foods. The adoption fee is only $50, that will include all of their kitty shots and their spay/neuter. If you are interested in any of these 3 or any other animals we might have up for adoption, please visit our website at animalshelternn.org or call Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska at 402-316-4848.
This week is Tippy. She is a female cat. She is at least six years old. She is white with a gray spot on her head and has a gray tail. She is extremely sweet but had lived on the street for sometime and knows how to take care of herself. She has had the tips of her ears frozen, therefore the name. She is a little rough looking but just wants attention and just constantly rubs against you. She is the queen of the shelter and all the other cats give here a wide girth. She likes other cats and dogs. For more info call Tenderheart Animal Rescue 402-369-6030 or visit http://tenderheartrescue.com/

This pet of the week is Amelia. She’s a sweet and all black beauty. She’s two years old but is the size of a 6 month old kitten. Amelia is a special little girl because she is FELV +. This means she will either need to be the one and only kitty in your house or with other FELV + kitties. Cats with FELV have been known to live long and healthy lives, so don’t think anything different of this sweet girl. She may be petite, but she has so much personality in her tiny little body. She loves to be held, have her head rubbed and her back scratched, purring the whole time. She loves to play. For more information on Amelia or any other animals we have up for adoption, please visit our website at www.animalshelternn.org or call us at (402) 316-4848.

Tippi is a small white female with dark grey tail and one spot on her head. She was found by one of our members, cold, thin and with ear tips missing due to frostbite. Friendly almost to the point of demanding with respect to human companions, she expects her feline roommates to behave as she wants them to and lets them know when they don't. Her time on the street has left her looking a bit rough but she was obviously determined to survive. She deserves a loving home. I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Kazoo. I am around 2 years old, and when I was a little one, someone loved me. Sadly, since then, I outgrew my collar and the kind people who found me had to cut it off because it was so tight. I was also hurt, badly. The people here suspect that I was kicked in the face hard enough that my front teeth are missing, as well as my nose. The humans say it's cute how I whistle when I purr, so I purr a lot for them. I am ready to go to my new home. Spayed/Neutered • Up-to-date with routine shots • House trained • Primary color: Cream or Ivory • Coat length: Medium.
