For the second time Boldt is Freshman of the Week
For the second time this season the Big Ten Conference has honored Nebraska's Ryan Boldt as the Freshman of the Week in baseball.
The sophomore outfielder from Red Wing, MN had a big conference series at Michigan this past weekend. He scored four runs and had two multi-hit games in a three-game set against Michigan, helping the Huskers take two of three.
Boldt went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in the opener before going 2-for-4 with a run in the series' second game, both Nebraska wins.
He then recorded his fourth triple of the season and scored twice in the series finale.
Boldt also won the honor in early March.
