Schroeder addresses 2014 NCTA grads

CURTIS, Neb. - Chuck Schroeder, the executive director of the Rural Futures Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, addressed 84 graduates from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture today at the Curtis Community Center. Schroeder has served in a variety of different capacities for Nebraska agriculture, holding positions like the director of the Nebraska Department of Ag and CEO of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. Dean of the College, Dr. Ron Rosati presided over the commencement ceremonies, with assistance from Associate Dean Scott Mickelson. Students who graduated today received degrees and certificates in agribusiness management, agriculture production, horticulture and vet technology. The 84 graduating students are from 8 different states.
