Science expos set for 2014 Neb. Science Festival
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Free science expositions will be open to school groups next year as part of the 2014 Nebraska Science Festival.
The expos will be held at two different locations _ the Durham Museum in downtown Omaha and the Strategic Air and Space Museum near Ashland.
The festival on April 24-27 will feature science- and technology-related activities throughout the Omaha and Lincoln areas.
Beginning Oct. 9, proposals will be taken for hands-on, kid-friendly science booths and presenters at the science expos, as well as community sites that want to host an event for the general public.
Those interested can get more information at www.nescifest.com.
The festival is sponsored by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and others.
