Longest Day 5K/Fun Run Set For June 21st
First-ever 5K/fun run to raise much-needed funds for the Alzheimer's Association Midlands Chapter including a balloon tribute entitled Memory Lane.
Feller Law Office, PC, LLO is a Beemer-based, full-service estate planning and elder law firm that has represented farmers, individuals, families and business owners for more than 30 years.
The Alzheimer's Association Midlands Chapter has provided education, information and support to individuals afflicted with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders since 1982.
The race will begin and end in Neligh Park. Course map will be provided upon registration. Race timers will be provided for those who wish to wear one.
All net proceeds from 'The Longest Day 5K/Fun Run' fundraiser will go to the Alzheimer's Association Midlands Chapter
Monies raised will support their mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
On The Longest Day, teams around the world come together to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's with a day of activity. Held on the summer solstice, June 21, 2014, this event calls on participants to raise funds and awareness to advance the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
The fun run is Saturday, June 21st at 8:00 a.m. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m.
Pre-Register before: June 16th at 5:00pm. All pre-registered participants guaranteed a t-shirt and swag bag!
Entry fees (include race t-shirt):
$20.00 - Pre-registered runners
$25.00 - Race-day registration
$10.00 - Walkers, kids (12 & under) & senior citizens
(Children 12 & Under must be supervised at all times.)
