Home Invasion Suspect Identified

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha police have identified a suspect in a home invasion that landed an elderly woman in a hospital earlier this week.

The 78-year-old was released from the hospital Wednesday after being attacked in a home invasion early Tuesday.

Authorities said an felony arrest warrant has been issued for 16-year-old Naushkoniwaheega Hamilton.

Officers were sent to a home in the Deer Park neighborhood in south Omaha just after midnight early Tuesday for a report of a home invasion.

The victim, identified as Janet Jordan, 78, said someone kicked in the door, struck her head and tried to take a TV from the home.
