Johanns wants more transparency from EPA
Senator Mike Johanns has introduced four pieces of legislation that would make the EPA more transparent and reduce the harmful impacts that their burdensome regulations have on farmers, ranchers, and businesses.
Johanns says the bills address one of the biggest complaints he receives from constituents who say regulations over the last four years have been shortsighted. They also say agencies have been unresponsive to modifications.
Johanns says the EPA is the worst violator according to the people he talks to. Johanns bills would require the EPA to provide Congress with regulatory agendas twice a year and require that EPA guidance documents be under Congressional review.
