It was a picture perfect day as the pickers, horses, and wagons rolled across the scenic Platte Valley near Gothenburg.  The Nebraska State Hand Cornhusking Contest was back in Dawson County after being away for 17 years.

This year’s contest was held in conjunction with Gothenburg’s Fall Festival.   Below are a few interviews from the event.
